Moving time is near…
Moving is stressful without a doubt…combining moving and remodeling really raises the stress level. My family has been remodeling our home and this week is crunch time…On January 31 we will officially be moved into our new residence….the major remodeling projects will end, and the unpacking, organizing and settling in will begin. I am ready to get back to creating art and enjoying my new view!
Christ is able to provide the strength we need…. Philippians 4:13

Getting out of the comfort zone
it is hard to push out into the world to try new things, discover new places, meet new people, change jobs or do anything that requires us to be uncomfortable. Sometimes we are forced due to circumstances; however, let’s face it the comfort zones of life are just easier.
As I move forward with art licensing I need to make changes, do things differently, try new routes to get to where I want to be, open up to new ideas and redirect my energies…
in other words it is time to get busy with a new plan that moves me beyond my comfort zones.
Armed with renewed
I am formulating my plan of attack…the month of February will be a transition time…moving into our new home, our daughter moving to a foreign country, a new job for me, changes to my art licensing business plan, website and logo and new opportunities are ahead.
Through the next few weeks I will be writing about what I need to get me from where I am to where I need to be.
If we expect to see changes, we have to be willing to do something different.

What’s on the horizon?
There’ll be cloudy days, rainy days, days filled with sunshine and brimming with possibilities…some days will be productive, others will seem to pass without a single accomplishment. Taking one day at a time…make plans, dream, work hard and pursue the good things, because there is one thing for sure—if you don’t start you will never get to where you want to go.

What’s ahead?
As I have written in the last few posts we are remodeling a new home and will be moving soon; I have been very busy!! I can’t wait to set up my studio so I can get back to creating new art, making changes on my blog, and working on new plans and ideas for selling and licensing my artwork. I am motivated, ready and excited for the opportunities ahead.

2011–looking back, moving forward
As I think about the year ahead, trying not to over plan, make resolutions or think beyond the next few days I want to take some time to look back at 2011, a year of changes.
2011 began with grieving for my dad; he passed away in November, 2010…he was my hero.
In July we began looking for a new home…that process finally ended in December as we closed on our new abode…we will be in a new city; still close to old surroundings. We are remodeling and will be moved by the end of January, 2012.
Our daughter learned that she has a teaching position in South Korea…she will leave in February and that will be a sad and happy day as we watch her leave on an adventure of a lifetime.
Art licensing moved slowly in 2011; although I painted and worked in my art journal daily, the licensing part was on hold.
So a new year has dawned, new home, new studio on the horizon and new days to pursue the things I love, enjoy the beauty of God’s earth, the love of family and moving forward with art licensing.

Roads to travel
the last two weeks have been spent traveling 45 minutes from our present home to our new home to work on remodeling projects…each morning I have watched the beautiful sunrises as we traveled the freeways and back roads.
We will have our home ready for move-in in a couple of weeks, and as we make this move there are many new roads we will travel and many new adventures to experience. change is in the air personally and professionally…
I look forward to the calendar of days wide open for 2012!

Day 61 of 61 days challenge
a new year is dawning
filled with
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My 61 days challenge is complete..I have accomplished many of my goals and I am looking forward to a great new year filled with many opportunities for art licensing, and other creative endeavors and moving to a new city!
