About
Give me a camera, a pencil, ink pen, paint brush, colored pencil, piece of fabric or scrap of paper, a simple desk and a chair in which to sit and I am content to create. I am inspired by flower gardens, bright colors, old lace, quiet places, mountain tops and valleys.
My work starts with a photo or an idea; then it is sketched and enhanced with either acrylic or colored pencil. I scan the finished piece into Photoshop to create patterns and designs, working in layers to add or develop each pattern and design for use on various products.
