Inspiration comes in many forms…originality is one of a kind.

Self-taught…inspired by flower gardens, bright colors, old lace, quiet places, mountain tops and valleys, nature and people. With a few tools…paint brush, paint, pencil, ink pen, a canvas or journal I am content to create. My creative process has evolved throughout my life to this place where I have left behind the accounting profession to pursue art licensing.
I work with watercolor and acrylics. My art is scanned into Photoshop where I create patterns and designs. All my work is in layers to develop each pattern and design for use on various products.
and the rest of the story goes like this….My dad is my hero…Music is a big part of my life…My dream is to license my art for fabric…I love mysteries and in another life I could be a journalist or detective…Jane Austin and Agatha Christie movies are some of my favorites…I would rather be taking pictures of flowers or creating my next art piece than cooking a meal…Texas is where my roots began with my parents…Arkansas is my birthplace…Digging in dirt is therapy for me…
This scripture is my goal…First Thessalonians 4:11-12: “Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.”
