Day 17 of 61 days challenge
Playing with patterns….
The challenge continues as I work on creating new art and designing products. These prints are available to license for scrapbook papers or any type of paper product.

Day 14 of 61 days challenge
Do you use recipe cards? It is a practice that I haven’t been faithful to; however, after creating these cards I plan to get back to writing out my recipes. Also I just found a recipe box like one my mom has and has had for many years…so I plan to fill it up and display it when we get moved. These were fun to create and the art is available for licensing.
I love creating for Christmas and I love using pretty gift tags. These two designs using my Christmas art are also available for licensing.
Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving? We bought our turkey and ham and so my plans for eating out may have been cancelled. However, if we close on our house in a couple of weeks…baking turkey may not happen until we get moved. At least we have the turkey and ham when we need it.

Day 9 of 61 days challenge
Everyday is a good day and everyday is a gift!
Today was no exception! Too often we see only the negative and miss all the wonderfulness of our lives…………. Our house hunting has finally ended in a closed deal…we should be closing in two to three weeks. Yeah!……….I am working hard everyday on new art and I can see my portfolio growing and improving. Yeah!………..We are having some beautiful weather…cooler temps and beautiful fall colors!……….God is good and He is in control of all that concerns you and I. I am so thankful that He has my back! Halleluiah!

Day 8 of 61 days challenge
Back to creating today…
These coasters are created from photographs. Working in Photoshop I removed the backgrounds from the photos then used a filter to enhance the flowers and then added a black background. My goal is to have 3 or 4 sets of 4 coasters with my flower photos. These will be Christmas gifts and the art is available for licensing.
The 61 days challenge is definitely inspiring me to create, and all of this creativity will get me to my goals. This makes me happy!

Today was one of those days when there are too many other things happening…laundry, shopping with my daughter, phone calls, house closing stuff…so creating art has been on hold today. However, this weekend I worked on something fun after watching great football…my teams won…go Hogs and LSU!
I used a filter in Photoshop to turn the above colored photo into a black and white line drawing, then I created another layer and added color back into the photo. I need to add more color before I call this finished. It was a ‘for fun’ project and I really enjoyed it. Although this isn’t necessarily a 61 day challenge project, it opened up some possibilities for future art.
Tomorrow is another day to work on my challenge, and I will!

and the greatest of these is Love…more creativity happening and lots of ideas for art licensing. These designs are for coasters, tea towels, recipe cards and pot holders. My challenge is keeping me busy and my portfolio is growing. Tomorrow I will be creating more art for kitchen products. It is great to be creative!

Day 3 of the 61 days challenge has been productive….projects are progressing, ideas are flowing. Here’s a peak at a set of coasters available for licensing. These will also find their way into a stocking for Christmas.
Many of the 61 day challenge projects are for Christmas gifts and all the art is available for licensing. Expanding my art portfolio as well as making Christmas gifts is the goal for my 61 day challenge.

I started early, early this morning working in my journal…drawing, writing and planning. Projects for today are in progress…a birthday card for my mom is at the top of the list.
The rest of this week will be spent on the first items on my list so I can finish this week out very strong. My hope is to post every day and share my projects.
