Hello Monday….
Here we go again…another work week with lots of possibilities.
My to do list is long; however, I am not complaining, just thankful for a list and all the blessings in my life.
We’re still on a house hunt and the right place will be found soon.
My week will be filled with art licensing business, house hunting stuff and packing.

affects how we feel, influences our choices, moods and many other aspects of life. We usually choose our clothing, decor, vehicles and even our food based on color.
I love the Black and white combination; however, I am really glad we have lots of color choices because color brings variety to life. Which are your favorites?
Bright colors…hot pink, bright blues, greens and purples are some of my favorites.
The pastel versions of my favorite colors are pretty…just not for me.
Browns, oranges, reds, greens, blues and yellows aren’t in my palette either. These are the same colors that we see mostly in winter months….I am not a winter weather person.
Thankfully we have color in our world.

have always fascinated me. The fabrics, color, detail, design, pattern are elements that make a quilt special for the one making it, the one using it and the one inheriting it. I have a few quilts that have been passed down to me from my mother and grandmothers. These works of art are pieces of history that show the handiwork, the old fabrics and the talents of the quilters. Although I do not quilt I love fabric and one of my goals is to license my art for fabric. It will happen!
These pictures of are of old quilts I have found in antique stores…I love the old fabrics and the simple designs.

weekend meanderings….
planting flowers, picking strawberries, drawing, relaxing, bird watching,…oh the joys of a weekend to take time for reflection and deep breaths.
a little rain and lots of sunshine filled my weekend…another week ahead filled with opportunity, more sunshine and maybe even rain.
my thoughts and prayers continue for those suffering from the devastating weather.

how about a little inspiration…
Life is full of inspiration, and believe it or not most of the time we don’t have to go looking for it because it is right under our nose. Yesterday in my blog post I shared some inspiration that was almost at my front door. Today, I found inspiration just by reading some of my favorite blogs.
Tara Reed shared some musical inspiration this week…get ready to turn up the volume!
Martha Lever always inspires me with her positive, upbeat message and the beautiful art and calligraphy on her site.
Alisa Burke is another inspiring artist…she has beautiful photos, artwork and a beautiful attitude.
So, for anyone who can’t find inspiration or direction or anything to smile about maybe after you visit these ladies you can find a smile and then why not just break out the paints or maybe the dancing shoes and do something creative!
