Friday outlook….
What’s the outlook for your Friday…I’m not talking about the weather, because it seems there is a lot of heat everywhere. I’m talking attitude! How are things lining up for you? Sunny? Gloomy? Weary? Energized? Undecided? Excited?
Maybe your Friday outlook needs some TLC. Be good to yourself, lighten up, give yourself a break, take some time off, read a good book, watch a great movie…it is amazing what a little time spent away from the routine can do for your outlook on life.

for giving up.
Maybe the grey clouds are gathering and the blue skies haven’t appeared. Give it a little more time, another day, take some time to think, pray, read something inspirational (I recommend the Bible), talk to your best friend, call your banker, maybe even talk to a stranger…just don’t give up. Because…
Today may just be the day when everything begins to turn around….a little bit of blue begins to appear overhead, you talk to the right person, someone calls with good news, your troubles don’t look as daunting or you see things in a better light, something happens to give you hope, you find a solution and you find hope in the midst of your storm. Because….
There is always hope…today is not the day for giving up.

This morning I read a great post at the pioneer woman that was just right for my Sunday morning.
Sundays traditionally for me have always been spent going to church, relaxing with family and friends and finding time to enjoy things that are not work related. There are a few projects on my work table other than painting and creating art collections….
I’ve gotten back to sewing for myself, something I used to do but got out of the habit. I love getting out the fabric stash or buying a new piece of fabric…right now I am making a few summery shirts.
Also I am sorting through photos to use for prints and cards. I enjoy using Photoshop to crop and enhance for printing.
Hope your Sunday is filled with relaxation, family and friends and faith for tomorrow.

weekend meanderings….
planting flowers, picking strawberries, drawing, relaxing, bird watching,…oh the joys of a weekend to take time for reflection and deep breaths.
