Keeping things simple

With the holiday season upon us, this is such good advice. Keep things simple, take time to enjoy the season, be thankful, be gracious, give more than you take, enjoy the beauty of the season and stay true to those things that are important to you.

Simplicity–living life with as few things as possible and letting go of things that keep me from living my dream.
Wide open spaces—I have spent too many years living in rural America, and oh how I love those wide open spaces.
The beauty of nature—flowers, gardens, bees and birds.
Family and friends
The cool crisp air of fall and the beautiful colors of the changing season.
Exploring new places.
…..and of course creativity which comes in many forms—painting, photography, fiber arts and re-purposing materials, either clothing or junk.
